Alpe d’Huez & Mont Ventoux names are both associated with the legend of the Tour de France. The first arrival at Alpe d’Huez dates back to 1952, since when it has become one of the most famous climbs in the world. Its 21 turns, originally numbered to help the snowplows during the winter, will be a landmark in your ascent. Omnipresent in the landscape of Provence, which it dominates from its 1909 m altitude, the Mont Ventoux is a giant. From its summit, the panorama opens onto the Alps, the Massif Central and the Mediterranean. But to do so will require great determination. All the way from the Alps to the Mont Ventoux offers a wide variety of astonishing lanscapes. A cycling tour from Alpe d’Huez to Mont Ventoux is a must for every cyclist. No doubt.
We will meet you at the Grenoble TGV station at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Vaujany. In the afternoon we will take the opportunity to introduce you to the program and adjust your bike.
