Ride in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in a region still strongly impregnated by the Austrian culture.
We will meet you at the Innsbruck airport at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Bressanone, Italy. In the afternoon we will take the opportunity to introduce you to the program and adjust your bike.

The entrance to the Dolomites through the Passo delle Erbe (1992 m) is probably the best way to discover the greatness of the landscapes of this region of the Alps. After a few kilometers of warming up, the road begins to rise, first in the heart of the forest, then quickly the mountain pastures and the peaks so characteristic of this massif.

Today’s stage is only 50 km long, but we climb 4 prestigious passes: Passo Campolongo (1,876 m), Passo Pordoi (2,239 m), Passo Sella (2,244 m) and Passo Gardena (2,121 m). This is the famous Sella Ronda loop, probably one of the most beautiful itineraries in the Dolomites. At the top of Passo Pordoi, a memorial pays tribute to Fausto Coppi, the legendary Italian champion. Back at the hotel you are free to relax at the spa, the pool, or to visit the beautiful town of Corvara.

Taken during the 20th stage of the Giro 2022, located at the foot of the Marmolada glacier, the Passo Fedaia (2054m) offers terrible slopes up to 16%. It was here that Richard Carapaz broke down, allowing Jai Hindley to fly away to the pink jersey. After the descent to Canazei, the more audacious will continue to Corvara by taking the Passo Pordoi on its western side this time.

After a few kilometers on a downhill slope we turn right and start the ascent of the Passo di Valparola (2196m). The landscape is magnificent, in the distance the Piz Boé (3152m) summit of the Sella chain.
The descent to Cortina d’Ampezzo, famous winter sports resort, is quite fast. We take a little bit of altitude by taking the Passo de Tre Croci (1804m) before the last ascent to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (2333m), which offers an average slope of 11%.

Route: Option 1 : 65 km / 2200 m Elevation Gain – Option 2 : 90 km / 2300 m Elevation Gain
Accomodation: Hotel Europa 4* – Cortina d’Ampezzo
This last stage takes us to the Passo Giau (2232m), one of the most beautiful passes in the Dolomites and therefore in Italy. Legendary climb of the Giro, the panorama at the top will invite you to enjoy the view for a few minutes. The descent to Selva di Cadore is sinuous and technical. Here you are at the foot of the Passo Falzarego (2105m), the last pass of this magnificent week in the heart of the Dolomites. Tonight we will have a delicious meal in Cortina d’Ampezzo to celebrate this sporting week that is coming to an end.
