From Amsterdam to Bruges discover unique landscapes and some of Northern Europe’s most beautiful cities.
We will meet you at the Amsterdam airport at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel in Amsterdam. In the afternoon we will take the opportunity to introduce you to the program and adjust your bike. We take advantage of the end of the day to visit the city. The magic of Amsterdam is seen in the gabled houses typical of the Golden Age, the canals that criss-cross the city, and the brown cafés that are several hundred years old.

The Netherlands, the land of flowers. World leader in tulip production, floriculture has turned this small country into a great nation. In spring, mainly between late March and mid-May, Holland is covered in color.
After leaving the town of Haarlem, we head to reach the North Sea coast where the road crosses the dunes. As we head inland, the first fields of flowers appear with their sweet fragrance. At the heart of these acres of tulips and hyacinths lies Keukenhof, the world’s largest bulb garden. After visiting this emblematic Holland location, we continue towards the town of Leiden, where Rembrandt was born.

We take advantage of the morning to visit the Kasteel de Haar, one of the country’s largest and most luxurious castles.
Built in the 13th century, the castle was extended and rebuilt in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in a neo-Gothic style. It has impressive towers, a moat and magnificently landscaped park. This typical Dutch castle is one of the most famous in the Netherlands.
Today, our route winds its way through the polders of Southern Holland, a landscape unique in the world. Polders are “enclosed spaces, conquered from the water by dyking, then drained for agricultural purposes”.
We continue on to Gouda, the cheese capital of the Netherlands. This beautiful town offers a rich historic center surrounded by canals. From here we ride on to Kinderdijk “the child’s dike”, one of the most emblematic sites in the Netherlands, where nineteen mills, built around 1740, stand neatly lined up on the edge of the canals. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, these mills are a symbol of water management in the Netherlands.

The province of Zeeland, “land of the sea”, consists of three large strips of land at the heart of a vast delta at the mouths of three European rivers: the Rhine, the Meuse and the Scheldt.
This landscape, today flat and peaceful, is the scene of an age-old battle between the Dutch and the North Sea.
During the day, we ride the beauty of the Zeeland landscape, which oscillates between seaside, pastures and the gigantic infrastructures produced by Dutch civil engineering to keep the land out of the water.
