FROM MONT SAINT-MICHEL TO PINK GRANITE COAST 

This adventure starts in Normandy in front of the Mont Saint Michel and its magnificent bay. You will live intensely all the strength and the mysticism of this so particular coast up to the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany. You will be amazed by its intrinsic natural beauty as by its heritage.

Day 1 : Welcome to Mont Saint Michel

We will meet you at the Rennes TGV station at a predetermined time before transferring you to your hotel inear the Mont Saint Michel. In the afternoon we will take the opportunity to introduce you to the program and adjust your bike.

The ride along the quiet coastal and countryside roads of Mont Saint Michel Bay will take you at the footsteps of the unique Mont Saint Michel. Over the centuries, it has become one of the largest medieval pilgrimage centers. Experience that sense of a mystery that goes beyond the beauty of its architecture and the richness of its history.

Leaving the Mont Saint Michel behind, we cross the west side of the bay towards the charming port of Cancale and the fortified city of Saint-Malo, the corsair capital. The chic town of Dinard is our last stop before reaching the hotel.

Accomodation: Le Nessay 4* – Saint Briac sur Mer

Crossing the Emerald coast, we will not miss to go through a beautiful peninsula made of seven beaches. Then we explore the Cap Fréhel,  the most impressive sites of the region.

Accomodation: Hotel de Diane 4* – Fréhel

We ride along the Goëlo coast, made of peninsulas, cliffs and beautiful beaches.  A few kilometer after the shipowners’ houses of Paimpol, we stop for the night in front of the sublime island of Bréhat, at a ferry jump from our accommodation.

Route: 50 km / 400 m Elevation Gain

Accomodation: Les Terrasses de Bréhat 4* – L’Arcouest

Strating from the medieval city of Tréguier, we quickly reach the Pink Granite Coast, famous for its colored rocks that light up in the sunlight. This chaos of islands and rocks sculpted by the sea and the wind holds a jewel in its heart: the lighthouse of Mean Ruz.

It’s the end of this bike tour between Brittany & Mont Saint Michel with Veymont Travel. After breakfast your guide will take you to Rennes TGV station.
